The Beach and Pool

The beach is the quintessential Hilton Head Island summer activity. Pack your beach essentials and follow the sounds of the waves. You’re never more than a few steps away from the beach at the Beach House, so don’t worry about travel time. It’s hard to decide which is better – the beach or the pool. The good news is you don’t have to. Our favorite days are spent hopping back and forth between poolside cocktails and long walks on the beach.

The tasting room is open Monday through Saturday from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm, featuring a tasting flight on a first come first served basis, including a souvenir shot glass. For fun with the whole family, the Coastal Discovery Museum features indoor exhibits including a Discovery Lab and the Kids Zone.

Ziplining

Take your great outdoor adventure to new heights with Zipline Hilton Head . Get your adrenaline pumping with heights up to 75-feet on this two-hour tour. Try the Aerial Adventure Challenge with, “50 in-the-tree challenge activities on six different ability courses.” Kids as young as five can enjoy the green courses while adults challenge themselves on black courses.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding

Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is taking the world by storm and Hilton Head Island is no exception. It’s not kayaking, and it’s not surfing – it’s something in between. Standing on a large stable board, you’ll use a paddle to explore our inland waterways. H2O Sports offers one hour guided tours that include a lesson and a tour of Calibogue Sound and the surrounding marsh.

On Hilton Head Island, golfing is a year-round activity. Golf first came to Hilton Head Island in 1926 and has become an integral part of this island’s culture. With over 20 public and private championship courses featuring some of the most well-known golf architects, Hilton Head Island really is a golfer’s paradise. Live Music

It’s hard to find somewhere that doesn’t offer live music at some point during the summer in Hilton Head Island. The Tiki Hut features local and traveling musicians every day from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm with an afterparty at The Porch on Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 10:00pm.live music at Tiki Hut We're sure you'll be able to find your next favorite band right here. If you want to explore more of the local area, check out Shannon Tanner at HarbourFest every weeknight at 6:30pm and 8:30pm through mid-August. The night owls will love The Boardroom's late-night music, and right next door to the Beach House, Coligny Plaza, is hosting summer entertainment throughout the week into September.
